As for the bipod mount, what's wrong with using the sling swivel stud? Most bipods come configured to mount on a stud and it works great so why spend the money on a rail that really isn't needed and will just snag on things when you're not using the bipod? Put that money towards a quality Harris Bipod and be done with it.
