Greetings all! I just purchased one the nicest vintage rifles I have ever seen. It is a 110 Premier Grade in 30-06 with a five digit serial number - 4936_ . From my research it appears this is an early one and probably made in 1965. I can tell it has been shot alot, but it was certainly well taken care of as I would put the overall condition at 90% plus. The wood on this gun is flawless and very very nice! I would like to put a vintage scope on it and would appreciate any suggestion as to what would be considered an high quality but still correct vintage scope. Also, any comments on my theory on the serial number / year of build are welcome. Can't wait to shoot this 52 year old beauty!
