After researching different powders for the .308 Winchester, It sounds like IMR 4166 should be among the top contenders. But all the good things I have read about it has been published by the manufacturer. I was wondering if it truly lives up to the hype ?

Is the copper fouling eraser a real game changer, or just a sales pitch ? It would be great if we could eliminate the clean bore flyers by not having to clean the bore so often.

I like that it is not sensitive to temperature.

Hodgdon claims this powder is great for match grade performance in the .308 Winchester.

Any Thoughts ?
