Hi folks! Actually joined in February but just realized I never took the time to post an intro. I began visiting this site and ultimately decide to join for two reasons.

1) Learned to hunt with my father carrying his old Savage bolt action 340 30-30. It still sits in the corner of my den today.

2) Love Savages and am tired of the bashing from the Mauser snobs. Arthur Savage was a genius and the firearms industry owes him more credit than he gets.

I currently have paired up 2 Savage American Classic 14's in calibers that bare the manufactures name. One is 250 Savage the other a 300 Savage. These will not be safe queens by any means and will be carried through the woods of Maine by my son and I for many years to come!
