Hello all, I live in Saskatchewan, recently bought a savage axis XP II 243 and stuck a Boyds Featherlight on it and upgraded the optics to a Vortex Viper, and I have many much more expensive rifles that I wish performed as well as this little gem. I use it mostly for coyotes but plan to take it out for gophers when the snow melts. I was a axis skeptic for along time but I have to say I would recommend it to anyone looking for a cost effective rifle. The stock swap is a must, but for $99 usd its not a big expense. I also have a Savage model 93 in 17HMR and that gun has had thousands and thousands of rounds put through it with out a hitch. I look forward to learning a little on this site and hope to share some experiences with you all.
