All:
I'm a newbie member here now that I have a .17 B-Mag/bull barrel in my collection. After reading a lot of bad stuff about all the problems, I burned about 40 rounds from 25, 50, 75 and 100 yards. Best group was at 75 yards covered with a nickel. At 100 yards, it opened up to a quarter size. My second shot was a mis-fire...the only one out of 40.
My Boyd's thumbhole stock will be delivered on Friday and I'm adding a bipod, then back to the range to tweak it some more. Optics is a Nikon Pro-Staff 3x9x40 BDC.
17WSM ammo is abundant at Dicks Sporting Goods (or was) for $15.99/box, but can't find heavier grained ammo anywhere in/around Tampa.
Can anyone direct me to a post(s) of torque specs for installing the new Boyd's stock?

Thanks and I'm looking forward to talking with you all!
