Been reading some threads about torque settings and I ran across this informative link:

I have the Savage 110 Trophy Hunter w-Nikon scope in .270 I purchased back in March. It has the wood stock and Accutrigger. Tried several brands of ammo, and it seems to really like the Federal Premium Sierra GameKing BTSP best. Best group was 5/8" using a bipod and bag under the butt of the gun.

Because I like to tinker, I plan to go through the steps in the above article. This means 2 action screws, not 3. Although there is a 3rd trigger guard screw located behind the trigger.

With that said, I assume I tighten the front action screw to 30lbs
Then tighten the back action screw to 5lbs...shoot a group
Tighten another 5lbs...shoot another group
Repeat until I find the sweet spot like the article mentions.

Does this sound about right? I assume the trigger guard screw has no specs, just don't overtighten using common sense.
