    Smile Saturday's Match

    Saturday was our monthly match.

In South Louisiana we shoot in the middle of thousands of acres of sugar cane fields. 50 acres is clear for our range.

The sugar cane was just cut within the last month, so there was plenty of wind and the temp stayed in the high 40's.

Somehow I managed to stick in there, I decided to shoot my 284 due to the wind and cold.

I just finished my 284 using a SSS action with Fred's evolution trigger, a McGowen Barrel, all mounted on a SSS MBR stock.

Shooting the 284 I had to shoot in the F-Open (Master-Expert) class.

I took first place in the Master-Expert class
and lost overall only by a few points.

I have a feeling I will be shooting this gun a lot more.

I had a few minutes and thought I would share this as I am still excited about it.
