I am looking at buying a new factory savage bolt go to big game gun...
or maybe 2 ::)

I started at the weather warrior, with accustock.
But have been distracted by the walnut stocks.
Some guys might just buy the wood stock gun and try it.
But I do not want to mess around if there is a chance of point of aim changing with the weather and humidity. I will just wind up reaching for my plastic tikka. She is not pretty but is accurate.
We hunt in mild to very cold weather.

I spoke to a reputable gun smith.
He said he really likes the current savage rifles.
He can do a good epoxy/glass bedding job for amount that works out to 20% of the guns price.
Is this a good way to go?
Is there more that 1 way to do the job right?

I am new here, great site.
thanks...
