...How many rounds down the tube..???...
Looking for some help with a ballpark value on this models value. It is a non accue trigger 22-250 w/26" heavy fluted stainless barrel and blue long action single shot receiver, synthetic stock in excellent condition. Would like to sell/trade for something in .308.

This is stainless steel?
The older bvss and fvss came with a stainless barrel and blued, flat rear action. DOnt see many in a single shot though.Originally Posted by dcloco

I have a model 112 BVSS-S in .223 from a few years back (mid to late 90's ?). Obviously before the "short" 10 series actions came out. Great rifle. Sorry, I don't have a guess as far as value but if you like the rifle still you can always do a barrel and bolt head swap to .308 pretty easily. I really like the solid bottom single shot actions as they are slightly stiffer/heavier and easier to glass bed. Just my 2 cents.
That is affirmative, heavy fluted stainless 26" barrel w/ blue reciever single shot.Originally Posted by dcloco

Is the barrel blackened or still in natural stainless.
