ha!
Stosh and Vlad had shot a huge buck with a nice rack and each grabbed a back leg and started dragging toward the truck. The thick brush and vines were making it difficult, hanging up on the antlers, all the time having difficulty keeping a grip on each leg.
After a couple of hundred yards, they passed another hunter, and upon seeing their struggle suggested each to grab an antler in that it would be easier and not tangle in the brush. Each grabbed an antler and off they went. After a couple of hundred yards, they looked at each other and one said, "this sure is a lot easier, but we are getting farther from the truck".
ha!
Happens ALL the time in WISCONSIN !
Let him grow, Shoot a doe !
Would there be a difference between dragging and pulling?
And if so what end is best? lol
ever try pushing one out of the woods?
ha ha
That's funny! 'Round here we call the Vlad and Stosh's " Punkin and Dumplin".
However, it does underscore the notion that the best place to shoot a deer, is next to your truck! Or Subie Forester in my case...
good one
Sold my 6'+ grandson a Ruger .44mag. carbine, like new early model.... he don't mind hauling ''POP'S'' deer OR bear out of the bush !! ha ha ha
Actually Stosh and Vlad were out deer hunting. Vlad shot and went over and found hed shot Stosh.
He hauled him to the ER and the doc took over. Very shortly the doc came out w/ gloomy look on his face.
He told Vlad "I probably could have saved him if you had not gutted him"
LOL!
Stosh and Vlad were planning a hunt so Vlad picked up Stosh and dropped by his neighbor, a dairy farmer, and walked up to the house to ask if they could hunt the back woodlot that afternoon.
"Sure", said Farmer Yooper, "But if you don't mind would you shoot that old bull in the back pasture? He's blind and I don't have the heart to cull him myself."
So Vlad went back to the truck and figured he'd pull one on his pal. "That SOB read me the riot act and told me to bug off. I'll show him."
So Vlad grabbed his turty hoxsix and shot the bull.
Two more shots rang out beside him.
Stosh said. "C'mon lets beat it! I got two of his milking cows!"
"They couldn't hit an elephant at this distance." Last words of Gen. Sedgwik
