So I recieved my stock today, a boyds classic with ribbon stippeling. As I was inspecting the stock I notice that it is spintering on the outside of the barrel chanel towards the forend. Its not bad and could probably be sanded but, I have slight OCD and it bothers me that its brand new and already has a defect. I just read the return policy and it states that they will not accept returned stocks that have been laser engraved. Is this actually right? So regardless of whether you get a product that is defective or not they will not replace it?

Holy Crap!!
Take a picture of your problem and offer to email it to them when you talk to them.
Let us know what your find out from them.
They will replace, if the stock is defective upon arrival. They just will not return a stock that has a "custom option" if the return reason isn't defective (ordered the wrong one, decided I don't want it - these won't work).
Romad, any update? Did Boyds take care of you?
