Hello,
I've got a Savage Model 110, and the trigger is not working on it. When the bolt is closed the trigger will not pull. This is a customer gun so I have no idea what the trigger poundage is. What's your take on it? I think it might be the poundage is set to light, but I'm unsure.
Thanks
Gordon

So just increase the poundage?
yep that should fix it. If it is a new rifle it may have to be adjusted a couple of times for everything to wear in and take a set.

When I put my Savage 116 into a new stock I bought off ebay, I found many different ways of preventing the trigger and/or safety from working by incorrect inletting. It has to be extremely accurate. The thickness of a single washer at the bottom metal is the different between working and not working. So if you're not sure, check for binding nothing's binding.
Buying a stock off ebay was one of the dumber moves I have made recently, by the way. I spent a few dollars less than buying a Boyd's stock. Must have saved at least a dollar for every hour I spent on it.
