    Rem-age question

I am thinking about changing out a rem 700 barrel to the rem-age style lock nut. What barrel manufacturer that carries the rem-age pre-fits would you recommend? I'm assuming these barrels threaded differently than standard savage small shanks?

The Rem/Age Barrels are offered by NSS using Criterion Hand Lapped Match Grade Barrels. These barrels are threaded for the Remington 700 actions. Northland does make the Rem/Age Precision Barrel Nut for these barrels as well.

Other companies are offering their version of the Remington Pre-Fit barrels but the Rem/Age name is a product of NSS.

Is it possible to get anything smaller than a sporter contour in a criterion rem age sporter?

Moved to off-topic since this has nothing to do with Savage 110 centerfire rifles. Also, one quick call to Jim Briggs would answer all your questions.
