Be happy go shoot.
I thought I already posted this but now I cant find it so I apologize if this is a double post.
I just wanted to check to make sure I did my barrel install correctly.
With the receiver in a NSS receiver block I started the new barrel threading in then closed the bolt on a go gauge. I screwed the barrel in until it stopped. I tightened the barrel nut. I removed the go gauge and inserted a no go gauge into the chamber and tried to close the bolt. The handle would just start to go down but would only move maybe 1/4 inch. I checked it again on the go gauge and the bolt handle closed easily. Multiple checks ended the same 1/4 inch of handle movement on the no go gauge and easy closing on the go gauge. Does that look correct. I really dont want this thing blowing up in my face.
Thanks

Do it today there maybe no tomorrow
Cool thanks, Being used to ARs with the fixed headspace I definitely didnt want to mess this up.
The final check is whether it will close on a factory round.
