Do Savage have single stack magazines?

Might be simple just to ask the Q here.

Are the detachable mags single stack (not staggered).

I wouldn't consider them single stack (like a 1911 mag). The staggered feed mag system is definitely not single stack. The newer centerfeed mags do feed from center of the mag (hence the name) but they are not what I would consider a true single stack.

The rounds will stagger slightly after being placed in the mag......

Center feed is probably what I was after (in an answer).

This might negate any probs feeding if I were to AI a Savage 260 (model 11 or 16 with a box mag).
