You can lighten it up a tad. Whats better is to find a 3-screw style Savage trigger and use that, its a direct swap. Then you are totally adjustable. Or you could go aftermarket and get the best options. I say for a hunting or informal target rig go with the 3-screw.

If you lighten up your 200 trigger just be sure not to go to far. Otherwise it may trip on its own so to speak.
