    Need help finding part

I am removing iron sights from an older savage barrel and need to find some of the small set screws to fill in the holes. I have searched Brownells and Midway but can not find them. Anyone know where I can get them?

They are called plug screws.Brownells has them ,call and ask for them by that name.Just say you need to know if they carry barrel scope base plug screws. If you strike out, tell me how many you need. They are 6-48 thread. They are expensive, like a buck a piece.I may be able to scrape up some.

One more thing,if you get them dont loctite them in or you will never get them out if you need to go back the other way.Just tighten them lightly beyond finger type.

Plug screws are a pain, I just fill in the holes with a black crayon. It will seal them water tight and if you need to use them again they can be picked out.
