Got a 12 FV in .223 I would like to try up to 600yds. Do I need 0 or 20? I was thinking about using Mueller glass.

For 600 yards, you could get by with the standard EGW base. I don't recall what the elevation adjustments are on the Meuller so don't know how it would be effected by the 20 MOA Base. I do know you'd have plenty of adjustment at 600 yards with the 20 MOA base but may end up being a bit high at 100 with no way to adjust lower.

I would get the 20 unless a large amount of your shooting will be at 100 yards or less. It's pretty easy to calculate hold for shorter distances. Not to easy for the longer distances. I guess it would depend upon the reticle you have too.
You can probable get by w/the 0moa, but without knowing the exact scope and it's elevation I cant say for sure. I would just get the 20moa and you can get to 600 with most any scope. If you still need more elevation later just buy a set of Burris Sig Zee rings with offset inserts and you can add more into it.
my vote is get the 20.
