Trigger

I just bought a Stevens 200 today, and noticed the trigger has holes drilled and tapped for sear engagment and over travel. but they are plugged with plastic. Has anyone else seen this? I'm just wondering if they may have used new old stock. Just curious. Also whats the name of that lady at savage thats always so helpful? Thanks.

I bought a Stevens that had a trigger with a plugged hole where the sear engaged, cleaned out hole . added a set screw and light wire spring, and ended up with a great trigger. weewilly
