    Blitz Kings on Pdogs

I am sure that many of you already know the performance of these bullets. Let me just say that they are devastating. I tried them as i could not find any 55gr NBTs for the 243 locally and now I am going to stick with them for sure. I got to try them out on prairie dogs yesterday in gale force winds and they performed flawlessly. I think that the expansion was superior to the nbt as they shredded every pdog hit directly to a pile of blood and fur. I should have got some pictures, but we were having too much fun!

BTW first kills for the 243 vlp...I'm in love!

Blitz Kings are devistating. Also try the V-Max. Seems to me to be the same in the expolosive department, and sometimes cheaper depending on your retailer. I use 58gr V-Max pills in my 243AI and they have treated me well up to 4000 FPS (about as fast as I have pushed them so far, I am sure they will go faster ;D ).

Have been sold on the Nosler 55BT since they came out for the 243!! The 58 grain Vmax has never even come close to being as accurate as the 55s or as fast.
Have not tryed the Blitz kings in the 243 but might have to give them a try, the 39 grainers sure have been working out good in the 20PPC and 204.

You should definately give them a try. Much more of a "whack" effect. ;D

Have not tried the 55 Nosler BT's myself, but as far as the V-Max not being accurate, I have shot a couple of groups under .3" at 100 with my 243AI and I just shot a .331" @ 100 today with my new 6BR barrel. All using the 58gr V-Max.

If the 55 NBT's are better than that then maybe I better get a box.

In my old 243 (now a 220 swift) the NBTs shot better than the v-max. Have yet to try the v-max in the new gun but the sierras shoot better than the noslers. Which ever you choose to settle on, it is like shooting lightning.
