    Dies for 223 Remington?

Which die set do you recommend for the 223 in a bolt action rifle?

I use Lee Pacesetter because I wanted the crimp die for my AR, but will probably spring (the big bucks!) for a Lee Collet die in the near future for my 12FV. Then again, at this point with my trigger skills I'm not competing or expecting to shoot consistent sub-MOA groups...

If you want the best, buy Forster. They are cheaper than some dies, but they are everybit as good and better, than the high priced dies. Get the full length sizer and micrometer seater set, and never look back. You can not get a better set of dies.

I will agree with 82boy, I fought runout in my 308 with lee dies for a long time modifiying the seating die every which way we could think of to reduce runout. One would look decent next round would have .010". Bought a Forster BR seater die and they all come out with in .001-.002" at most.

Not used their sizer die yet but thinking of upgrading that as well.

The Forster dies and other products I have are first rate. I love the BR seaters.

80% of my die's are forster, The micrometer seater and the forster bump die so i can use the neck tension i want. Forster have been the best to keep your run out under controll with.

I haven't had any experience with Forster, but I use Redding and love them!

I had neck and bullet runout problems with my 6.5X47L using standard RCBS dies. I switched over to Forster dies and the runout problems were eliminated.
