It's nothing new, it's just a tensioned barrel system. The idea has been around for years. I have one on an AR-15, and it shoots great, it gives you the accurracy benefits from a heavy stiff barrel without the weight.
Anyone heard of this " straight jacket" what do you guys think.

Its not worth what they charge. I have done a few and dolomite has a few rifles with it also (not from that company). They work but you are paying what it would cost for a brand new match barrel for what they are charging to "modify" your barrel.
Can't say it improved because it was built that way from the git go, but it will still shoots .5 moa., good enough for coyotes.Originally Posted by brubo
