Model 10 FCP

Hello everyone,

I just want to introduce myself since I am new here and I have a question. I purchased a model 10 FCP from Dicks Sporting Goods with the Desert Tan stock and fluted bull barrel in .308 and am wondering what scope to put on it. I have been looking at a Leupold VX II 3x9x40 and a Bushnell 3200 5x15x40. Any opinions about these 2 scopes or other recommendations.

what will be the rifles main purpose (hunting, bench, etc)?

I will be using the rifle to deer and coyote hunting.

It also depends upon what reticle you want. I have three of those rifles 10FLCP-K (left hand). I like a Mil-Dot reticle and I am not sure Leupold offers Mil-Dot in that model. Bushnell does.
