Welcome to the best site on the web! I don't shoot a 22-243AI but I believe it should exceed the 22/250 in performance. 22-250 starting load data should be a good beginning and slowly work up. You may have trouble finding heavy bullet data in 22-250 as most were 1 in 12 or 1 in 14 twist for light varmint bullets. If you plan on using the Berger bullet, contact them on their web site and ask for any load data they may have for their heavy bullets in the 22-250. If they have any data, they will e-mail it to you.

There are a few people on here who have used this round. Being based off the 243 win cartridge I would personally not use 22-250 data. For a fireform load use a near max load for the 243 with a similar bullet weight. I use the 75gr a-max in my 22-250 AI and get around 3300 fps, I would expect a decent gain from your 243 AI.

I have a 22 Cheetah Mark 11 and i think those would be very close to that, Load it pretty hot to fire form and shoot at the same time.

any max load for 243 should be ok.
22 cheetah mk 1 loads will work too
My friend in Utah shoots 243 AI
55 gr balistic tips at 4498 fps
58 gr balistic tips at 4367 fps
    with 50 grains of Ramshot

I have a 22CHeetah that I use regular 243 brass to form the cases. As was suggested use a stiff load to form the cases. Mine is a 1-12 shilen barrel that shoots really well with 60 gr Sierra Hp bullets. I load mine down to 4000 fps to get a little more barrel life. Aneal the case necks and you will get more case life.
It is a neat round and easy to load, even though the cases require some work to form.
