DukeDurham,
I got a Remage nut from NSS. The external dimensions are the same as a standard Savage nut.
I know it's not Savage, but it is in the nut family, right?
What I need help with is the measurement of the nut for a Remage type setup. Can anyone help? Looking to fit a stock w/o having to modify the area @ the nut. Hopefully someone knows, or I'll just have to wait for Jim to get back from SHOT and call him. Thanks in advance.

you can always get a custom nut made too
Ya, just take one of then worthless receivers and cut the threaded end off and you have a nut LOL Very expensive custom!

I thank you all so far for the feedback, but i'm looking for hard numbers.
LG, if you have or could get the measurement of the NSS nut diameter that would be the bees knees!
Sinman, I was hoping to just buy one already finished from Jim and be done; but if I have too i'll consider a custom of some fashion. Want to exhaust other options before final decisions are made though.
The XLR chassis man Kyle says I can get by with a fit of less than 1.3 inches for a Remage setup, so this is what prompted the inquiry. Still hope someone can get me a good hard figure.
O.D. is 1.3" for .48" then drops down to 1.22" and tapers to 1.155" and the taper part is ~.4" the whole nut is .89" long. and that is a NSS nut.
Out-freakin-standing! Thanks Sin-man.
