Finally got set up with the frames I've been wanting. Thanks to Marty at HOA for hanging in there and working hard to try to get folks taken care of in the best way possible. I think he's been given some rough treatment at the hands of SSK but he's doing everything he can do to make the best of it.
The Flatside seems smooth as silk and not fussy about barrels. The Lynx is a little tighter and won't accept every barrel I tried. For now I've got an SSK 445 barrel on the Lynx and it seems to function properly as long as the action is snapped shut forcefully.
We'll see how the Lynx does at the range and see how my new stock design works out - it feels great and I think it'll tame some of the recoil of that 445. The Flatside has already proven itself providing 1/2 and 1/4 MOA groups with my Bullberry 25-45 barrel.
I'm feeling very lucky and very satisfied. :)
