Loosen up the screws that hold the mag bracket to the receiver. Then with the mag in place , wiggle it around till it seats proper, then tighten the screws.

I thought I'd circle back around on this. After a bunch of google searches I found a few post where people remedied it by taking the magazine apart and flipping the spring 180*. I'm happy to report this worked very well.
got one that messes up on me but never have touched as i got 3 more
