Cool Gun porn Youtube video for Christmas - Stevens 200 with 10FP-SR barrel .3 moa

Hey I posted a youtube video with the rifle and workups of 75 bthp with H4895 and comparisons to match ammo. I shoots .3 moa 5 shot groups :)

I'll have more videos soon with my N133 and H4895 workups of 50 and 55 gr Hornady that also shot sub moa in the next couple of days.

Just thought the thought some of the Savage gurus would like to see the rifle and workup of the loads I did. These rifles rock.

Some mighty fine shooting. I ran tasco's for many years and most were world class plus made in japan. They worked fantastic. Building savages is a riot.
Willing to give back for what the sport has done for me!

Good stuff! One question. Why do you have your Scope rail mounted Backwards!? I prefer the Talley Scope rails myself, and they also have that extra bit past the screw holes. But I had to machine my current rail as that overhang portion would not fit over the Chassis’ tube style forend.

I couldn’t flip it around without living it forward. I got it set for good eye relief but it may not be machined right but still works great. I’d love to do another Stevens 200 if I run across one.

I don’t get it Below is a still pic from your video. Why would flipping the rail change the eye relief? There is still plenty off adjustment fore & aft of the scope tube in the rings. At least one full Pic rail adjustment. Don’t get it.

Well- if you flip the rail then the scope would be on backwards. :)

The only thing I can think is that if you are swapping barrels back and forth then you could get to the barrel nut without removing the rail? But they make different rails that don't overhang.

Thanks man. Going to try to finish loads like this for all my rifles. I’ll zero them and the turrets. I may look at custom turrets if I can find a deal on my other scopes once I confirm the fps on a chrony.
