    A nice Contender carbine


    My carbine in 250 savage on a HHI flatside frame.

    that is a fine looking combo, and in a terrific caliber to boot.

    Hey now, that thing is purty.

    Can the 250 Savage run at full pressure in the Contender? Or are you planning on throttling it back?

    I'm a sucker for a 25 cal.

    I've been shooting factory level ammo through it for over 20 years. Got my first barrel(pistol) back in '89. Haven't had any issues to date.

    That's a pretty little gun, and a great caliber too!

    I have a .223 Rem carbine with a lot of miles on it. Great around the gentleman's farm for varmints. Sierra #1400 & IMR 4198 - classic load.

    What a gorgeous rig! I'd be hesitant to take it out of the safe for fear of scuffing that stock set ha ha.

    Beautiful firearm and I really like the 25 calibers.
