Thread: Stock fitment question for 12fv

    Thanks for all the help everyone. The receipt for the gun says savage 12fv from gander mountain 2006. I measured from the middle of the screw in front of the trigger guard to the next one on the other side of where the blind magazine is and it came to just over 4 1/4 inches. I can see the rounds stagger as I feed them in. This is why I was thinking what I was. I was calling it a bull barrel because it was very thick. It also has the bolt release on the top right side. I was also looking here https://www.savageshooters.com/conte...Action-Lengths. I could be wrong and guess I’ll find out soon as the choate tacticle stock I ordered arrives. Wish I had checked back before I made the decision.
