I am very sorry that we missed responding to your emails. We are a very small online operation and during these times run a very busy retail brick and mortar gun store. We have had very limited staff, especially recently when my wife and I were out due to a family emergency. We have been receiving hundreds of emails daily and our staff has been working as hard possible to respond while still tending to the customers in our store. We buy all of our Savage parts directly from Savage, so I'm not sure why the detent ball was not the right size. We have taken of a measurement sample of the detent balls in our inventory and and found that all tested were .125. We are always happy to replace or refund any issues with what we sell.

The correct ball size for the factory detent is .125 The upgraded extractor kits have been known to be 9/64 or .140. Somehow one of your customers(Chariephoo) Recieved one that he measured .155.
