Not new to Savage
New to the forum. Not new to the Savage rifle. I have three. A right bolt, left eject, heavy barreled 6Dasher that is in a Stockade benchrest stock. A factory PTA that is a 6BR and an old 110 flat back that used to be a 7mag. Its now a Winchester .308. That one has a Sharp Shooters Supply bench rest stock. The old flat back has the best trigger. Its a "Basix" and the best trigger of the three. I have to preface my prejudice for the trigger system on the Savages. I spoiled. Most every other rifle I shoot has a set trigger or a Jewel. I do like the floating bolt though.
