The need for gun control is a myth. The need for control is a fact. It is more difficult to subvert an armed society than it is an unarmed society. If you want to take guns away from your citizens you fear them. How is that possible if the government serves the people.

If protecting lives was the goal more people die of diabetes complications than gunshot wounds by a large margin. Why is High Fructose Corn Syrup not outlawed. Why do the liberals not sue the companies that make HFCS like they do guns? Why is texting not outlawed when road deaths are comparable to gun murders?

Study the work of this professor https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joyce_Lee_Malcolm to get a historical perspective predating the 1787 US Constitution. Her work has been cited by SCOTUS. The 2nd Amendment’s inclusion has as much to do with goings on in Europe as much as North America.

Are you doing a thesis? What Savage rifles do you own? I noticed that you have subscribed to several other firearm forums in the past few days.

One snag in this theory is the version of a split society which we are
currently in. Civil War II ?? One sided tyranny ?? Murphy's Law ??
The book is still being written.

    Wasent that book already written?
Hasent our society always been split at least to some degree?
Cant we can win the civil war simply by bankrupting those who oppose us?
    Isnt it already happening?

The book is still being written. We will be starting on chapter 46. Chapter
45 is inconclusive in the amount of paragraphs left to complete.

The book is still being written. One group wants to let you live with liberty, the other tyranny. As we look on in horror as our nation verges on complete collapse and being overrun by at least one other aggressive nation, half the nation doesn't even have a clue what the stakes are.

So Stephen22.....How about some input on your behalf !!
I'm thinkin' your agenda does not hold water. Ya' say your
doing research, so how about little insight on why !! Sitting
back for a response is petty to say the least.

Book already is written, called our Constitution. it depends on Patriots to stay strong, our 2nd Amendment rights can't be taken unless you allow it.

Pros of "gun control": creates a society that is easy to manipulate, easy to exploit, and is very subservient to those who have guns (government or criminals)
Cons of "gun control": in the eyes of tyrannical rulers, no cons whatsoever.
