I always used Winchester and or Remington in the past, always heard about Savage but seemed like people kind of dismissed them as legit rifles.

That was until 2 years ago, I have a 6.5cm 10ba Stealth, Model 12 FV 223, Model 110V 223 and they all shoot under .5 moa at hundred, love em...

Then the other day I came across what I thought was a good enough deal I couldnt pass it up, Savage 12 BTCSS 204 Ruger, RCBS dies, 300-400 brass,
300-400 bullets, about 100 rounds of various factory loads, and Barska 6x24 scope ( that is not a high end scope, but after shooting it a little at the indoor
range, I was pleasantly surprised ) all for 799.

I thew 3 loads together usind 32gr Vmax, CFE223, 8208xbr and BLC-2, had no idea as far as seating depth or whatever just took a guess and tried them.

Dang! I was very happy with the results, the 8208xbr was be best group, 5 shots right at .5, the CFE was close behind, I pulled one for a .88 overall but
4 were in at .496.

I just shake my head and smile....
