All they did is romove the accuwedge.
I remember reading they were updating the accustock to take care of some issues with it. Have they done this and if so what were the changes?

"As long as there's lead in the air....there's still hope.."
lol really? I thought the accuwedge helped with accuracy when it was working
Funny thing is Savage hasn't bothered to update their site stating that they've improved the accu-stock guns. Heck, they can change the name of the Edge/Axis rifle but when it comes to addressing the issues with the accu-stock they're pretty quiet on that one?
So I bought a brand-new 111 with the accustock. How do I know if they removed the accuwedge? If they did, couldn't I replace the recoil lug easier?
well, you could remove the barreled action from the stock and look.Originally Posted by CRNA
I had a custom 116 built by Savage that came in the end of Sept. It is supposed to have the new Accu-stock, at least that is what Effie Sullivan said when I called numerous times to find out why my rifle was taking so long, " We are waiting for the new Accustocks." However, mine came through with the Accu-wedge. I haven't been able to shoot it at 100 yards but did shoot it at 25 yards to get the scope on paper and it had 2 touching and the third about 1/2" away shot off the hood of my truck.
