Hard to beat a T36 for the money. I think a NF 12-42x BR will be my next scope acquisition. I don't like a cluttered reticle. Mil-Dot is as about as busy as I want.
What is your favorite scope, reticle, for shooting paper @ 600yds.
I love a Swarvoski, expensive, but the clarity is the best! I just wish they made a good target scope!

Steve Hugel likes them. He put one on his handgun. Think he has hits out at 1000 with it.

I will say this, IMO the perfect scope for 600 yards and beyond would have to be a variable power. Most times at 600 yards I leave the power at about 25 at the higher powers the mirage magnifies, it is the same no matter what brand of scope you use. If money was unlimited I would have a Night force 12-42 benchrest, but since I am a poor boy, I will stick with my Vortex Crossfire 8-32. It replaced my T36 Weaver, and I like it sooo much better. (Now short range is a different story.)
It's not perfect but, I think it works good enough.

Another external adjustmant scope is the Lyman STS

Or, for a long, internally adjustable scope, a Redfield 3200
