I am not aware of any LRP being a small shank. So no...unless you are buying a counterfit.
Is the Model 12 LRP in .243 a small shank?

The Dunning-Kruger effect is alive and well.
thanks
Are their any single shot short actions that are small shank?
Im not sure on that. What is it you are wanting to do?

Not currently. I think I remember hearing something about single shot rifles from the flat-back (pre-accutrigger) days, but the newer single shots are large shank.
FTR in 223, BA LE Tactical in 308, 110 Flatback in CBI 6mmBR Norma, Others
As 6mm said, I believe some of the old flat back single shots were small shank. I remember seeing them a few times in gun shops. I have a 12LRP in 243 and it is one sweet rifle, but definitely a large shank. All of newer target actions are large shank.
Thanks for the replies. I had the notion of putting together a chassis rig and I wanted to be able to utilize my small shank barrels. I was thinkin a bench gun, not really caring if it was a repeater or not. I could see serious target rifles being large shank only.
