    Idle hands and idle action.


    I know I could buy a Ruger 44 mag bolt gun for cheaper than I could build one but it could be a neat project. has anyone built a pistol cartridge 110?

    This. Maybe "doable" with a lot of custom work, but you wouldn't want the bill.
    Best to get one set up for the round, straight-wall, rimmed pistol cartridges don't play well with most centerfires.

    Actually did build this custom, for a customer that wanted one "just because", completely unique.
    Mosin-Nagant receiver, McGowen blank, custom stock. Needs to be single-fed, but only minimal mod to the bolthead needed for reliable extraction.
