I was set to buy a criterion, but I can get this with the fluting I want, and in a 9 twist for almost the same money.

How do these compare to criterion or shilen!?

I have never owned the 2 you mention, but my XCals have been great for me. They look beautiful on the borescope, clean up so much easier than factory, and all shoot 1/2" groups with my loads. Not sure you can anything else for the price.
