Hello all, i am putting together a rifle from some parts i had and some others i grabbed on the internet.
question is , is there a difference in the magazine box for a belted magnum and a 30-06? I purchased a receiver that came with a mag box ( slide in not screw on) and two bolt faces. The previous owner referred to it as a 300 win mag receiver and box. The winmag cartridges are very hard to insert, i have another 110 in 7 mag and the cartridges slip right in. Do i need to modify the lips? Do i need a different box? Where is a good place to purchase these items if needed. Thanks in advance
