    Criterion Match Chamberings

    Fellow shooters...

I am going to do a .243 AI and am torn between doing the standard and the match chambering. I understand the match has a little more freebore for the longer higher bc bullets. Question I have, is what does it do to the oal? I want this to be a magazine fed rifle with AI pattern single stack magazines. I dont want to get the match chamber if it will relegate me to a single shot. Any one have any first hand experience they can share??

I put a Criterion 223 with Match chambering and was a little worried. I loaded some 75 grain hpbt Hornady bullets out far enough to be just .015 off the lands and it shot a crappy 2 inch group at 100 yards. I just forgot about chasing the lands and just loaded to 2.250 the hornady recomended O.A.L. it shot less than 1/2 groups.
