    Savage Model 12 BR stock

I'm considering buying the Model 12 Br (18614) but I don't understand why the rear stock is tapered and not flat like on the F/Class version. I would think it would track better if it was flat like all the custom BR rifle stocks are.

That's just what you get when the folks designing the stock don't understand the game it's meant to play. Angle on the buttstock isn't necessarily a bad thing - so long as it matches the slope angle on the forend. That isn't the case here with the 12 BR stock.
