Great gun. My stock .243 Axis is still shooting sub moa after at least 700 rounds. I have several Axis and have learned to make them more accurate by: (1) sanding stock to make sure barrel does not touch it past barrel nut; 2) break in by cleaning every round for the first 10 and every five to 25; and (3) lighten trigger pull by cutting trigger spring per videos online. I reload with 100g Hornadys touching the lands and get about .75 to .5 moa. May need cheek riser or pad for stock if go with 50 mm scope bell.

I have built several off of Axis actions. I built a custom 6.5 x 284 on a 110 action and it barely out shoots my stock Axis 6.5 Creedmoor out to 600 yards. The .243 gets a bit tricky to shoot in 10 mph cross winds 400 yards and beyond.
