Hello all, new here from Pa. I have been shooting/hunting for a while. I am in my mid 30's and a teacher. I reload when I have time. I recently acquired an odd one, so I decided to join here, and hopefully find a few answers along the way. I picked up a Savage 340 chambered in 225 Win that I hope to use. It came with 50 rounds loaded ammo, 20 pcs empty brass, and RCBS dies. Took it out Saturday, and shot some of the reloads that came with it. They were loaded with H 414 and 52 grain hollow-point bullets. They shot right at an inch at 100 yards which I didn't think was bad due to the bad trigger, and an old Bushnell Sportsview scope. Ran them over the chronograph and they were running at 3405 fps. Just a quick question, which section if the forum would be the right one to post in concerning this particular rifle? Thanks!
