    Accutrigger spring question

I have searched this topic and gained quite a bit of information but would like to ask those more experienced. I have a Model 12 VLP that I use only from the bench and have adjusted the accutrigger (non red blade) to where I am pleased with the pull weight. I don't have a trigger pull gauge to get specific weight.

I recently acquired a late production model 11 Trophy Hunter XP, 22-250 with accutrigger. It has a noticeably stiffer trigger than the VLP. I'd like this 11 to have a pull weight comparable to the VLP but I'm not interested in "modifying" the trigger with ink pen springs or the like.

My question is: Will the replacement Target Spring from Gun Shack, part number SAV105270, get me close to my goal?

Any knowledge or comments are much appreciated.

Yes, the Target/Varmint Spring from Gun Shack will get you down to around 1.5 lb trigger pull, or similar to the Savage Model 12 VLP.

The Varmint and Target trigger springs are different. As are the standard Accujunk Triggers. Here is a Article graciously written by Hotolds442 and published by J baker.
