    Older savage 111

Hello all. I'm new to the site I have an older 90's model 111 that I have had since it was new. It has been apart for close to 15 years I wanted to buy a new stock for it do to the original being cut down for a youth gun. Over the years I have some how misplaced the magazine follower and spring. I called savage and of course they don't make parts for it anymore my question is I can't remember if it was a blind mag or if it had the hinged door and what kind of feed it had staggered or straight its chambered in 243

If it still has the magazine attached to the action and you have a trigger guard with a screw hole on both sides of the finger hole it most likely was a blind mag stagger feed. The spacing of the two action screws will determine short or long action.
