Started out as a model 11 DOA .338 Federal with a 20 inch barrel.
Traded the barrel for a Savage take off model 10 24" heavy .308 barrel.
It is really front heavy!
I can't wait to start shooting this.

Nice! You can help balance it a little if you put some weight in the butt.
Will add a little overall weight though if that’s a concern. I still need to get my 12fv to the range, see how it does. The trading classifieds are pretty awesome in my opinion. Speaking of which I need to update my membership and post some rings/bases mounts.
Go get 'em.
(But please take the decal off the scope).

I leave my decals on! Nothing wrong with it
Didn’t you know they are a secret tuning device? Thy dampen harmonics and make it shoot better!
My hunting rifles have no badges. But if it’s living at the range I tend to leave them on. Why? I haven’t the slightest clue.
oh, and I’m such a nerd that I paste the Mr. yuk faces under my flip cap scope covers. lol
Now that I like. I made a BDC distance chart for my favorite load, weatherproofed it and pasted it on my eyepiece scope cap.
But I took the decals off my rifle and scope.
Does your refrigerator still have the ENERGYGUIDE Estimated Yearly Cost sticker on the door? ;-)

I left the decals on my Nikon Buckmasters, which by the way is one of - if not THE - most underrated scope on the market IMO. That should be a great shooting combo. Congrats!
