    coatings

I have seen guys post their rigs with different colors on them I see the name dura coat thrown out alot and have seen people mention teflon coating the bolts. Can someone give me a run down on different coatings for rifles and how to go about getting them done. I would like to get my riggs coated eventualy and just dont know the differences. Also it seems like a good way to cover up the blued action stainless barrel look.

    Re: coatings

DuraCoat is very effective. I have painted atleast 6 of mine with it. The tactical colors are best for a dull finish or mix with regular colors to dull them. Easy to put on and durable. It is not a coating for moving parts though. It is just epoxy based paint.
