Howdy Yall just got my first Savage rifle a fairly nice Model 10 GRS in 308.. Finally making the transition to a modern hunting weapon after using a M1 Garand to hunt since I was 7. Have to say so far its by far the best bolt action modern rifle I have used the only thing close is the Ruger Precision. As smooth and seemingly as well built as a Garand or Mauser.
